Meads, Victor – Private

Son of Mary Gilford Meads, and brother of Dorothy Meads, of 57, Rosamond Street, Daubhill, Bolton, Lancashire. Previous territorial service as Gunner 1446, in the 3rd East Lancashire Brigade, Royal Field Artillery, enlisted 06 January 1915 at Bolton, and discharged 25 June 1915. Re-enlisted in Loyal North Lancashire Regiment and discharged as not likely to become an efficient soldier (valvular disease of the heart) on 28 July 1915. Died in Bolton in November 1916 and interred in Heaton Cemetery on 18 November 1916
