Son of Thomas and Jane Brierley, of 104, Belmont Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Previously reported missing from 21 March 1918.

Chalkley, Ernest George – Private

Nephew of Mrs. Susan E. Thornton, of Rock House, Halliwell, Bolton, Lancashire. Previously wounded and suffered shell-shock 23 September 1916.

Crook, Matthew – Private

Son of Mrs. E. Crook, of 7, Irma Street, Astley Bridge, Bolton, Lancashire. Whilst serving guarding the railway line at Mangotsfield, Gloucestershire, Matthew was accidentally killed by his brother Private William Crook, 5th Battalion, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment, when a rifle William was handling discharged accidentally. One of two female friends being entertained by the brothers at the time was also wounded.

Dickinson, John Joseph – Private

Son of John and Elizabeth E. Dickinson, of 134, Belmont Avenue, Hamilton, Ontario. Previously recorded as missing, then killed in action at Maple Copse trenches.

Edge, John – Private

Second son of P.C. Aaron Edge of the Bolton County Borough Police, of 33, Ulleswater Street, Bolton, Lancashire.
