An old boy of Bolton Grammar School (1902-1904). A member of the Legion of Frontiersmen.

Roux, Edmond Felix Emile –

Son of Edmond Roux, of Liege, Belgium. A refugee from Belgium following the 1914 German invasion, accommodated at Edgworth. An old boy of the Bolton Church Insititute (14/01/1915 to 26/07/1917). Joined the Belgian Army aged 17 years in August 1917.

Vermandel, Leon –

Husband of Mrs. Alice Vermandel, of Chanay, Ain, France. Formerly employed at the Hulton Steel Works. Died at the Military Hospital at Bourbourg, Nord, France.

Zakeriesen, Johannes –

Son of the late Lodevicus Carolines Zakeriesen. Of 15, Garden Lane, Salford, Lancashire, and formerly of Kufierstraat No.17, Antwerp, Belgium. Husband of the late Ellen Elizabeth Zakeriesen (nee Murray). (Married 21/11/1917, at St. Peter’s Church, Greengate, Salford, Lancashire. Ellen died Q4, 1919, Salford. Possible daughter, Veronica, born Q4, 1919, Salford.) Wounded. Possibly attached to Royal Army Medical Corps?
