Son of Mr. and Mrs. John Robert Hardman, of 28, Manchester Road, Kearsley, Lancashire. Enlisted November 1915, Royal Scots. Reported missing and subsequently confirmed captured 28/11/1917 prisoner of war.

Hilton, Harold –

Son of William and Alice Hilton, of 8, Hilton Lane, Little Hulton, Lancashire. Enlisted November 1914 aged 17 and served in the Dardanelles with the 6th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Commissioned. Reported 13/01/1918 as missing since 26/11/1917 and subsequently presumed killed.

Of 16, Bury New Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted November 1915.

Horn, Eric –

Son of Robert Tweedie Horn and Gladys Horn, of Salford, Lancashire.

Kilroe, Francis Joseph –

Son of Patrick and Catherine Kilroe, of Fulwood Lodge, Fulwood, Preston, Lancashire. Formerly of 20, Walton Street, Preston, Lancashire. Formerly Private 55883, Royal Army Medical Corps. Commissioned Second Lieutenant in the Highland Light Infantry 16/10/1917. Attached to the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers.

Son of William and Elizabeth Mason (nee Hilton), of 67, Church Street, Blackrod, Lancashire, and formerly of 38, Coal Street, Blackrod, Lancashire. Wounded twice, second time on 07/07/1916. Formerly 3rd Bn., and 10th Bn., Highland Light Infantry.

Of 85, Oak Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Caught as an absentee since from Aldershot 07/05/1916 and 22/05/1916. Appeared before Bolton Magistrates 13/05/1916 and 23/05/1916 to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/27).
