Son of Mary E. Aspin, of 48, King Street, Southport, Lancashire, and the late John Aspin. Native of Bolton. Formerly of 473, Halliwell Road, Bolton, Lancashire.

Calvert, John Thomas – Private

Son of William Metcalf Calvert and Hannah Calvert; husband of Sarah Jane Calvert, of 45, Ramwell Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Recorded as 2nd Reserve Regiment of Cavalry on Bolton Roll of Honour.

Croft, Raymond – Private

Son of William and Mary Ann Croft, of 23, Montpelier, Edinburgh. Of 71, Beaconsfield Street, Bolton, Lancashire. He had been in training at Curragh Camp for the previous four months and come home on leave 13 July 1917 following 2 weeks in hospital with a sprained ankle following an accidental fall. Interred 19 July 1917 at Heaton Cemetery. Recorded as 1st Reserve Regiment of Lancers on Bolton Roll of Honour. Also recorded as Stanley Raymond Croft in local newspaper.
