Son of David and Sarah Jane Adamson, of Glenesk, 96, Castle Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Veterinary Officer of the Bolton Artillery (1st/3rd East Lancashire Brigade, Royal Field Artillery) since July 1905. Appointed temporary Major as Assistant Director of Veterinary Services to the Egyptian Expeditionary Force in July 1916.

Aldred, Benjamin –

Son of John H and Betty Aldred, of Horwich, Lancashire. Also commemorated on the Kirkee 1914-1918 Memorial, India.

Davis, Charles –

Of 7, Moorfield Grove, Tonge Moor, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted March 1915.

Day, Thomas –

Of 140, Halliwell Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted October 1915.

Dean, Herbert Arthur –

Husband of Florence Dean (nee Corns), of 46, Trafalgar Street, Bolton, Lancashire, and later of 146 Hollingreave Road, Burnley, Lancashire. Formerly of 210, Ainsworth Lane, Bolton, Lancashire. Previously PC172 of the Bolton County Borough Police from 14/01/1910 until resignation 23/04/1913. (Bolton Archives: ABJ/22/173) Served as acting Sergeant during war service. Discharged due to valvular disease of the heart. Died 02/12/1918 aged 32, residing at 16, Hengist Street, Bolton, Lancashire and interred 06/12/1918 in Breightmet (St. James) Churchyard.
