Barham, John Stanley –

Son of David and Ada Jane Barham, of 89, Manchester Road, Walkden, Lancashire. An old boy of Bolton Municipal Secondary School (as Stanley Barham in “Supera” school magazine). Enlisted April 1915. Died of gunshot wounds in both thighs and the right arm at a Canadian Auxiliary Clearing Station in France.

Son of Cyril Barnes, of Myrtle Villa, Hazlehurst Road, Worsley, Lancashire. Formerly Sergeant 1737, 5th Bn., Manchester Regiment. Commissioned 16/12/1917. Reported seriously wounded in March 1918.

Barnes, James Francis –

Son of Henry and Alice Barnes, of 63, Leach Street, Farnworth, Lancashire; husband of Mrs. Barnes, of 29, Ash Street, Moses Gate, Farnworth, and later of Trafford Grove. Died of wounds when there was an air attack on the clearing hospital he was in.
