Son of Mr. Philip Boardman, of 2, Ethel Street, Deane Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted January 1915.

Britton, James – Private

Of 42, John Taylor Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Wounded six times and gassed once. Received the DCM for gallantry in rescuing wounded at Arras in 1917 under heavy fire and in spite of gas.
