Kibblewhite, Thomas Charles –

Son of Edwin and Margaret Kibblewhite; husband of Emily Elizabeth Kibblewhite, of 105, Upperton Road, Plaistow, London. Previously served in the Merchant Navy before war service.

Brother of Councillor Walter Marshall, of 159, Thicketford Road, Tonge Moor, Bolton, Lancashire. Promoted Acting Captain, 03/07/1917.

McGuire, James –

Son of William and Ann McGuire, of Bolton, Lancashire. Body not recovered for burial.

Parsons, Reginald Lacey –

Only son of Percy Reginald and Ada Parsons, of 32, Bromwich Street, Bolton, Lancashire; husband of Winifred Parsons (nee Higginson), of 223, Belmont Road, Bolton, Lancashire. An old boy of the Bolton Church Institute and Bolton Municipal Secondary School. Formerly employed at the Salford branch of the Union Bank of Manchester. Commissioned October 1915. Appointed Paymaster in July 1917.

Son of James and Charlotte Annie Roach; relative of Mrs. M. Smith, of 34, Egerton Street, Patricroft, Lancashire. Body not recovered for burial.

Rothwell, Arnold –

Son of Mr. and Mrs. William Rothwell, of The Grange, Lostock, Bolton, Lancashire. An old boy of Bolton Grammar School.

Reported to be a Naval Reserve called up at the beginning of the war and taking part in memorable retreat.

Stephens, Charles Wesley –

Son of Robert and Julia Ann Stephens, of 297, Great Clowes Street, Higher Broughton, Lancashire. The boarding Tug HMS Char was sunk off the coast of Kent. Body not recovered for burial.

Wood, Dennis (Denis) –

Only son of James Henry and Frances Annie Wood (nee O’Connor), of “Ecclerigg”, Egerton Park, Worsley, Lancashire. Died. Was to be sent to duty at the Falkland Islands Wireless Telegraphy station, but whilst training at the Marconi Company he died suddenly from pneumonia aged 21, March 1915 and interred 22/03/1915 at Manchester (Southern) Cemetery in grave H.1817.
