Son of John Abbey, of 78, Willows Lane, and the late ; husband of Mary Ellen Abbey (nee Hayhurst). Formerly employed by the London and North Western Railway Company as a porter.

Abbey, Patrick Michael –

Son of John Abbey, of 78, Willows Lane, Bolton, Lancashire, and the late Mary Ann Abbey (nee Carroll). Enlisted October 1915. Home service only.

Abbott, Albert –

Husband of Charlotte Abbott (nee Taylor), of 101, Astley Street, Tyldesley, Lancashire. Formerly employed as a miner. Had previously enlisted at Atherton on 04/09/1914 as Private 15812, 8th Bn., York and Lancaster Regiment, his address being at that time 1, Higher Oak Cottages, Shakerley, Tyldesley, Lancashire, and was discharged as medically unfit 11/11/1914. Home service only on both periods of service.
