Son of Henry and Amy Ball, of Salford, Lancashire.

Killed when a Lancaster Bomber crashed at Littleton Road Playing Fields on 30th July 1944, killing all crew and two civilians.

Son of William and Minnie Banbury; husband of May Banbury, of Winton, Eccles, Lancashire. Also served in the 1914-18 War.
