Iliff, formerly of 9, Park Grange, Victoria Park, Manchester, Lancashire, and of Sunderland, County Durham. Brother of C. W. Iliff, of Keasden, Felden, Boxmoor, Hertfordshire. Formerly Z/245 (London), Petty Officer, Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve. Died of wounds in 2nd (Royal Naval) Field Ambulance.

Born as Fred KERSHAW, and baptised at Halifax, St. John the Baptist 20/11/1898 under this name. Formerly employed by the Manchester Film Company. Formerly Private P/260248, 478th Home Service Company, Labour Corps. Transferred to Royal Flying Corps 06/08/1917. Missing and presumed drowned at sea en-route to Egypt. NOTE:- RAF Record incorrectly lists date of birth as 30/08/1878.
