Son of Mr. and Mrs. Kitchen, of 38, Fourth Street, Barrow Bridge, Smithills, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted November 1914. Reported missing since 10/07/1916 and subsequently presumed killed.

Lees, George William Oswald –

Husband of Mrs. Lees, of 22, Broach Street, High Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly 37929, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Captured prisoner of war 25/03/1918 and died in hospital from gastric and internal catarrh.

Lindow, Arthur –

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Lindow, of 63, Croston Street, Daubhill, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted October 1915. Killed by a shell.

Melia, John –

Son of John and Mary Melia, of 118, Mount Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted October 1915 as Private 7475, 5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Mistakenly reported killed in action as Private 4192 with the King’s Own Royal Lancaster Regiment on 14/08/1916, but subsequently confirmed wounded in the leg and at No.26 General Hospital.
