Wounded in the right wrist by shrapnel September 1915. Listed as serving at the time of death with the 6th (King’s Shropshire Light Infantry) Bn., Herefordshire Regiment.

Of 19, Devon Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted May 1915, Army Ordnance Corps. Possible death at 19, Devon Street, Bolton, Lancashire, aged 50 on 26/03/1920. Possible interment at Bolton (Tonge) Cemetery, 30/03/1920 aged 50. Grave CE 2 Y1 14.

Only son of Walter Herbert and Annie Roberts, of 142-144 Bradshawgate, Bolton, Lancashire. An old by of the Bolton Grammar School. Undergraduate King’s College, Cambridge.

Son of John Hughes Roberts and Anne Roberts. Of 9, Virgil Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Of 232, Darwen Road, Bromley Cross, Turton, Lancashire. Enlisted May 1915.

Son of Jabez Roberts; husband of Laura Roberts (nee Wilkinson), of Lilac Cottage, Barrow Bridge, Bolton, Lancashire.

Robertson, William –

Grandson of Mary Jane Bennetts. Of 33, Old Road, Astley Bridge, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted March 1917. Reported as wounded and missing since 22/10/1917. NOTE: Recorded on the Bolton Roll of Honour but all military records and local newspapers show surname as ROBERTSON.

Robinson, Leonard –

Husband of Mrs. Robinson, of 7, Sunning Hill Street, Daubhill, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted in 1900. Twice wounded and once gassed. Posted missing since 25/11/1917, and subsequently presumed killed.

Robinson, Thomas Sprowell –

Only son of Mary A. Robinson, of Orchard Farm, Carleton, Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire, and the late Thomas Robinson, formerly of “Somerville”, Deane, Bolton, Lancashire, and formerly of Petrograd, Russia. Formerly 113964, Royal Army Medical Corps, and formerly 51835, 6th Reserve Bn., Lancashire Fusiliers. Died from injuries sustained in an aeroplane accident. Recorded under Lancashire Fusiliers on SDGW, and Royal Air Force on CWGC.

Robinson, Frederick (Fred) –

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Robinson, and husband of Mrs. Robinson, of 49, Grasmere Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted in the Army in February 1911, seeing service in India and the Dardanelles. Twice wounded. Reported as Frank in BC.

Eldest son of Mrs. Pennington, of 5, Wellington Buildings, Blackburn Road, Astley Bridge, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly employed in the Coal Department of the Bolton Co-Operative Society. Enlisted February 1915. Reported missing since 15/09/1916 and subsequently reported killed.

Son of William and Sarah Ellen Robson, of 110, Weston Street, Great Lever, Bolton, Lancashire. Originally reported as wounded and missing since 31/07/1917, subsequently officially presumed to have been killed. His father served in France.
