Seagrew, James –

Husband of Mary Wilshaw (formerly Seagrew), of 4, Brammah Street, Hurst, Ashton-under-Lyne, Lancashire; brother of Mrs. Coolhan, of 55, Cross Ormrod Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly employed at the Lum Street Gas Works. Enlisted September 1913. Wounded 25/05/1915 in the left ear and side of head. Found severely wounded to the head on a train at Euston as he was returning from furlough, and died from his injuries.

Only son of Joseph and Mary Jane Seed, of 19, Venice Street, Daubhill, Bolton, Lancashire. A member of the Bolton Corps of the St. John Ambulance Brigade. Attached 131st Machine Gun Company. Died from Pneumonia at hospital in Cairo.
