NOTE:- Served as James COSTIN. Of 7, Back Green Street, Bolton, Lancashire. A reservist, mobilised at the outbreak, he was wounded at the Mons retreat and lost the middle finger of his left hand and wounded in the leg. Died from Pneumonia and Tuberculosis at No.3 Canadian General Hospital, Boulogne. Previously served in the South African Campaign.
