Husband of Ann Costello (nee Eccleshare), of 20, Tavistock Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Died aged 47 years on 08/09/1922. Also recorded under Royal Army Medical Corps on Bolton County Borough Roll of Honour.

Costello (Costin), James –

NOTE:- Served as James COSTIN. Of 7, Back Green Street, Bolton, Lancashire. A reservist, mobilised at the outbreak, he was wounded at the Mons retreat and lost the middle finger of his left hand and wounded in the leg. Died from Pneumonia and Tuberculosis at No.3 Canadian General Hospital, Boulogne. Previously served in the South African Campaign.

Cotgrave, William Henry –

Son of H. Cotgrave, of 10, Larkhill Street, Blackpool, Lancashire; husband of Mary Ann Cotgrave (nee Wilder), of 5, Minnie Street, Daubhill, Bolton, Lancashire. A member of the Bolton Corps of the St. John Ambulance Brigade. Suffered chronic nephritis. Died aged 38 on 10/05/1918 and interred at Bolton (Heaton) Cemetery on 13/05/1918. Surname also reported as COTGREAVE.

Son of John and Sarah Cotton, of Bolton, Lancashire; husband of Edith Cotton, of 19, Mortfield Lane, Bolton, Lancashire. Died form a bullet wound in the chest received 07/06/1917.

Son of Mr. And Mrs. Cotton, of Bolton, Lancashire; husband of Ellen Annie Cotton, of 325, Hulton Lane, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly of 112, Hadfield Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted January 1915.

Cottrell, Frederick Samuel –

Only son of Samuel and Florence Mary Cottrell, of 660, Chorley Old Road, Doffcocker, Bolton, Lancashire. Posted missing, reported prisoner of war, and later confirmed died.

Cox, Joseph –

Son of the late Lawrence and Mary Ann Cox, of 25, Daisy Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly of 16, Gregson Field, Bolton, Lancashire. Previous service 5 years as a gunner in the Garrison Artillery. Previously reported missing and believed killed, presumed to have died near Zillebeke.
