Son of Mr. and Mrs. Yates, of 31, Calvert Road, Great Lever, Bolton, Lancashire. Reported missing since 24/08/1916.

Yates, Peter –

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Yates, of 17, Back-o’th’-Bank, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted October 1914. Three brothers also served in the Army.

Returned from South America where he had a tobacco plantation to enlist in October 1914. Reported wounded on 15/07/1916 and subsequently missing. Formerly “E” Company, 5th Bn., Middlesex Regiment. A brother serving in the Royal Field Artillery and another in the Navy.

Son of James Young; husband of Elizabeth Young, of 493, Chorley Old Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Killed accidentally when he fell from a slowing train in France.

Son of William and Emma Jane Young. His sister resided at 448, St. Helens Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted October 1916.

Son of Mrs. Young, of 507, Tonge Moor Road, Bolton, Lancashire. An old boy of Bolton Municipal Secondary School. Formerly Private 2665, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment.

Young, Robert John –

Husband of Catherine Young, of 74 Garnet Avenue, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and later of 187, Bloor Street East, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Formerly employed by the Bolton Corporation Waterworks Department prior to emigrating to Canada. Died after being hit by a shell splinter.
