Previously employed as a clerk in the Bolton Tramways office. Formerly 8048, Royal Engineers.

Son of Robert and Martha Foster, of 70, Yates Street, Tonge Moor, Bolton, Lancashire, and formerly of 57, Cross Street, Bolton, Lancashire. A member of the Bolton Corps of the St. John Ambulance Brigade. Enlisted August 1915. Died at the Fulham Military Hospital, Hampstead, London.

Son of Robert and Mary Foulkes. Of 38, Stewart Street, Bolton, Lancashire.

Fowler, Richard –

Son of Mr. Joseph Fowler, of Gas Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Of South View, Tempest Road, Lostock, Lancashire. Posted missing since 11/04/1917 and subsequently presumed killed.

Son of Thomas and Mary Fowler, of 107, Queensgate, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted September 1914. Wounded at Vimy Ridge 15/05/1916.

Fowler, Frederick James –

Son of Mrs. Sarah Ann Fowler, of 57, Wordsworth Street, Bolton, Lancashire; husband of Elizabeth Ellen Fowler, of Francis Street, Yarraville, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. A member of the Bolton Corps of the St. John Ambulance Brigade. Reported missing from the hospital ship Arcadian and believed drowned from 15/04/1917 and subsequently declared to have died on that date.

Son of Bernard Fox, of 1, Hartley Street, Bolton, Lancashire, and the late Sarah Ellen Fox. Died in a casualty clearing station from wounds received the previous day. Thrice previously wounded.

Son of Peter and Ellen Fox; husband of Jane Fox (nee Brown), of 48, Ainscow Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly of 31, Craddock Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly employed at the Lum Street Gas Works. Enlisted January 1915. Reported missing at Gallipoli and subsequently presumed killed.

Husband of Mrs. Fox, of 3, Rumworth Street, Daubhill, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly employed by the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Company as a porter at the Goods yard. Formerly Private 4507, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Wounded in the arm 09/08/1916. Reported missing July 1917 and subsequently presumed killed.

An old boy of Bolton Grammar School (1902-1903). Enlisted September 1914.

Frain, William –

Husband of Mary Frain, of 2, Bird Street, Derby Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Caught aged 38 as AWOL from the 9th Bn., Royal Dublin Fusiliers at Blackdown since 19/11/1915 appearing before Bolton Magistrates 23/11/1915 to be sent back to his unit under escort.
