Hetherington, William –

Son of the late William and Eliza Hetherington, 12, Clay Street, Eagley, Turton, Lancashire, and formerly of 49, Hough Lane, Eagley, Turton, Lancashire; brother of Samuel Gilbert Hetherington, of 243, Darwen Road, Bromley Cross, Turton, Lancashire. Enlisted August 1914. Wounded October 1916. Captured prisoner of war and died of influenza in Germany.
