Husband of Hannah Hindle, of 81, Hough Lane, Eagley, Turton, Lancashire. A member of the Eagley Mills Prize Band. Enlisted September 1914. Formerly 1st/5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Reported in BJ&G as W. Hindle and as Wm. Hindle in BC.

Hindle, William –

Son of Mrs. Hindle, of 13, Cloister Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Was ill with dysentery in November 1916. Died en-route home from Mesopotamia for demobilisation in 1919 from pneumonia. Buried at Sea.

Son of Richard and Jane Hindley, of Bolton, Lancashire; husband of the late Mary Ann Hindley, of Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly of 20, Woodgate Street, Great Lever, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted March 1915. His orphaned children resided with Mrs. Hobson, at 100, Weston Street, Great Lever, Bolton, Lancashire.

Hoare, Alan Brodie –

Younest son of the late Edward Brodie Hoare and of Katharine Hoare; husband of Audrey Lois Hoare (nee Collier), of 64, Napier Court, Hurlingham, London. Of 98, Thicketford Road, Bolton, Lancashire. A member of the Bleacher’s Association Limited, he was associated with the management of the Firwood Bleachworks and Dunscar Bleachworks. Commissioned 07/12/1914.

Mobilised for service 12/02/1917 as Private 7056, 1st/4th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Formerly Private 235096, 3rd/5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Reported missing since 03/06/1917 and subsequently on 20/03/1918 presumed killed.

Enlisted December 1915. Died of wounds received at Beaumont Hamel at the 3rd Canadian General Hospital, Boulogne.

Hodkinson, Albert William –
