Hodson, George –

Son of George and Marion Hodson, of 60, Derby Street, Bolton, Lancashire. An old boy of Bolton Municipal Secondary School. Formerly 20011, 20th Bn., Hussars of the Line.

Hogan, John Arthur –

Husband of Mrs. Hogan, of 36, Chapel Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted September 1914. Died at Second Northern General Hospital, Leeds from pernicious anaemia, consequent on shrapnel wounds in the head and the effects of being gassed. Previously served in the South African Campaign. His brothers James and William also served.

Hogg, Harry –

Son of Henry Hogg, and the late Sarah Ann Hogg (nee Rushton). Formerly resided at 88 John Taylor Street with his brother John Robert Hogg. Wounded in action and died aboard the troopship SS Soudan.

Holden, William –

Husband of Harriett Holden, of 40, Whittaker Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly 17198, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Killed instantly when hit in the head by a shell fragment.
