Ackerley, Hugh –

Son of Joseph and Sarah Ackerley, of 579, Liverpool Road, Irlam, Lancashire. Later re-enlisted 12/04/1921 at Patricroft for a further1 year of service in 8th Bn., Lancashire Fusiliers.

Adams, Benjamin –

Son of Herbert and Mary Adams, of 85, Firs Street, Cadishead, Lancashire. Reached rank of Corporal in 21st Bn., Manchester Regiment, but was demoted back to Private for absenting himself. He was also wounded in both legs.

Arstall, Harry –

Son of Ann Arstall, of 96, Slater Street, Latchford, Warrington, Lancashire. Previously served 2 years in the Royal Engineers.

Boothby, Frank Forsyth –

Son of Alfred and Elizabeth Ann Boothby, of 25, Chapel Road, Irlam, Lancashire; husband of Priscilla Boothby (nee Cordingley), of 17, Victoria Road, Irlam, Lancashire. Died 05/03/1921 aged 34 years.

Bowen, Reginald –

Of 18, Caroline Street, Irlam, Lancashire at enlistment. Husband of Mary Bowen, of 24, Ashfield Grove, Irlam, Lancashire, in December 1914.

Bracegirdle, Thomas –

Son of George Harry and Alice Bracegirdle, of 8, Caroline Street, Irlam, Lancashire. Formerly employed as a labourer at CWS Soap Works.

Briggs, George –

Son of Henry and Mary Ann Briggs, of 11, Preston Avenue, Irlam, Lancashire.
