Whittle, Frank Johnson –

Eldest son of Robert and Sarah Ann Whittle, of 67, Aitken Street, Accrington, Lancashire. Formerly of Craig-y-don, 156, Markland Hill Lane, Bolton, Lancashire, and 124, Church Road, Smithills, Bolton, Lancashire. An old boy of Bolton Municipal Secondary School. Enlisted in British Columbia in September 1914. Sustained a bullet wound through the left arm October 1916.

Youngest son of Robert and Sarah Ann Whittle, of 67, Aitken Street, Accrington, Lancashire. Formerly of Craig-y-don, Markland Hill Lane, Doffcocker, Bolton, Lancashire. An old boy of Bolton Grammar School (1907-10). Previously employed by Messrs. Tillotson & Sons, Ltd. Also reported as Bert.

Son of Anthony and Mildred Wilkes, of 4, Eddish Field, Doffcocker, Bolton, Lancashire. Police Constable 107 of the Bolton County Borough Police since 13/01/1910 until enlistment for War Service. (Bolton Archives: ABJ/22/170). Returned to the police force 23/01/1919.
