Gillibrand, James Austin –

Son of Mrs. Horrocks, of 27, Wellington Street, Farnworth, Lancashire. Formerly in 1973, 3rd/1st Lancashire Hussars. Wounded in May 1917. Wounded again when shot through the leg and arm on 22/03/1918 at St. Quentin and taken prisoner of war. Died aged 31 years on 14/04/1919 at Manchester Royal Infirmary during an operation as a result of the above wounds.
