Heywood, Joseph –

Son of Joseph and Sarah Jane Heywood, of 4, High Stile Fold, Kearsley, Lancashire. Relatives resided at 17, High Stile Fold, Kearsley, Lancashire. Formerly a collier at Trencherbone Colliery. Enlisted July 1917. Was on his way home from Mesopotamia when he took ill, left at hospital in Salonika, where he died from pneumonia.

Previously worked for the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Company in the Signal Department before going to Canada. Reported missing and subsequently presumed killed.
