Hollinshead, Charles –

Son of Mr. and Mrs. John Hollinshead, of 339, Moorside Road, Swinton, Lancashire. Died in a French hospital at Abbeville of serious wounds to the right thigh received 27/12/1917, resulting in amputation of the limb on 08/01/1918.

Hope, Frederick –

Son of Albert and Helena Hope, of 17, Brackley Terrace, Hazelhurst, Worsley, Lancashire.

Howard, Richard –

Son of Thomas and Mary Howard of 56, Holdsworth Street, Moorside, Swinton, Lancashire; husband of Elizabeth Gelder (formerly Howard), of Fulstone, New Mill, Huddersfield, Yorkshire.

Murray, Petchell Burtt –

Son of George Irving and M. Jane Murray, of Broad Oak Park, Worsley, Lancashire. Killed in training in an accident at he Central Flying School at Upavon, Wiltshire.

Myers, James Wheatley –

Son of William and Mary Janet Myers, of Bowden View, Broadoak Road, Worsley, Lancashire. An old boy of the Manchester Grammar School. Formerly employed by Dobson and Barlow’s of Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted 1914. Succumbed to wounds received on 31/07/1917

Son of George and Matilda Ogden, of 44, Ringlow Park Road, Swinton, Lancashire. Service number recorded as 305474 on SDGW.

Phethean, Charles –

Younger son of the late Mr. John Phethean J.P., of Bolton and Farnworth, and of Mary Phethean; husband of Mabel Alice Phethean (nee Yates), of Brackley House, Worsley, Lancashire, and formerly of Oakdene, Broad Oak Park, Worsley, Lancashire. Enlisted November 1914. Reported missing and subsequently presumed killed.
