Hilton, Harold –

Son of William and Alice Hilton, of 8, Hilton Lane, Little Hulton, Lancashire. Enlisted November 1914 aged 17 and served in the Dardanelles with the 6th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Commissioned. Reported 13/01/1918 as missing since 26/11/1917 and subsequently presumed killed.

Hodson, George –

Son of Harry and Alice Hodson, of 106, New Earth Road, Walkden, Lancashire; husband of Sarah Hodson, of 45, Old Clough Lane, Walkden, Lancashire. Formerly of 278, Bolton Road, Walkden, Lancashire. Enlisted March 1915.

Howard, Peter Charles –

Son of Sergeant Peter Howard and brother of Miss M. Howard, of 266, Manchester Road East, Little Hulton, Lancashire. Enlisted February 1914. Reported wounded and missing following an engagement near Richeburg in France 09/05/1915. Recorded as Charles Howard in F&WJ.

Hurst, Thomas –

Husband of Mrs. Hurst, of 7, Hodgkiss Street, Farnworth, Lancashire. Formerly 136th County Palatine Heavy Battery, RGA. Died of Malaria and Bronchitis in British General Hospital, Amara.
