Son of Mr. and Mrs. Edge, of Brewery House, Pollard Street, Manchester, Lancashire, and formerly of The Spinner’s Arms, Hill Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly Private 3010, 1st/5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Wounded in the back in September 1915.

Fletcher, Harold –

Son of Thomas and Mary Ellen Fletcher (nee Livesey); husband of Jane Fletcher (nee Smith), of Leyland, Lancashire. Enlisted Private 7991, 4th/5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Admitted 1st Australian Casualty Clearing Station 14/03/1917 with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to a toe; transferred to No.15 Casualty Clearing Station at Hazebrouck and placed in confinement awaiting trial. Tried on 02/04/1917 for “Conduct to the prejudice of good order and military discipline; carelessly wounding himself in the left foot?. For this his sentence was 28 days. He finally re-joined his Bn. on 08/05/1917.
