Formerly on the staff of Messrs. Tillotson and Sons, Ltd. Enlisted January 1915 into the King’s Royal Rifle Corps as Rifleman 9490. Wounded January 1916 at Ypres. Commissioned August 1917. Reported missing since 18/04/1918 and subsequently confirmed prisoner of war in Germany.
