Husband of Mrs. Pearson, of 5, Partington Street, Monton, Eccles, Lancashire. Formerly 37149, Manchester Regiment. Missing since May 1918 and subsequently confirmed prisoner of war at Limburg. Subsequently died in German hands.

Son of Robert and Ellen Pennington, of Walkden; husband of Harriett Annie Pennington, of 137, Walkden Road, Worsley, Lancashire.

Phethean, Charles –

Younger son of the late Mr. John Phethean J.P., of Bolton and Farnworth, and of Mary Phethean; husband of Mabel Alice Phethean (nee Yates), of Brackley House, Worsley, Lancashire, and formerly of Oakdene, Broad Oak Park, Worsley, Lancashire. Enlisted November 1914. Reported missing and subsequently presumed killed.

Son of Thomas and Harriette Ann Pickering, of Alder Cottage, Worsley Road, Worsley, Lancashire.

Potter, William Edward –

Nephew of Mr. and Mabel Elizabeth Chadwick, of 24, Chatsworth Street, Walkden, Lancashire, with whom he resided. Educated at Boothstown Church School. Enlisted December 1917. Reported as Edward Potter in F&WJ.

Son of Richard and Elizabeth Prescott, of 271, Manchester Road, Tyldesley, Lancashire.

Prescott, Fred Simkin –

Only son of Albert Edward and Alice Prescott, of Beech Mount, Boothstown, Lancashire. Enlisted 1914.

Ratcliffe, Arthur –

Son of Mary Elizabeth Ratcliffe, of 52, Vicars Hall Lane, Boothstown, Lancashire. Possible death in the April to June Quarter of 1918 in the Barton-on-Irwell registration district, aged 22.

Ridyard, Charles North –

Second son of Joseph and Celia Ridyard, of West Lodge, Worsley Hall, Manchester, Lancashire. Died of pneumonia at the 24th Casualty Clearing Station, Italy.

Son of Walter Rounce, of 252, Walkden Road, Worsley, Lancashire; husband of Elizabeth Rounce. Joined up Februayr 1917. Posted missing since 13/04/1918, and subsequently presumed killed.
