Glaister, George –

Son of Hannah Glaister, of Breightmet Hall, Bolton, Lancashire, and the late Alfred Glaister. An old boy of Bolton Grammar School (1898-1899), and the Bolton Church Institute. Formerly Private, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Previously wounded in the ankle in April 1915. Gazetted to Lieutenant from Second Lieutenant July 1917. Acting captain at time of death.

Enlisted December 1915. Died of wounds received at Beaumont Hamel at the 3rd Canadian General Hospital, Boulogne.

Admitted 1st Canadian Casualty Clearing Station dangerously wounded by gunshot to the head penetrating brain. Died at 1st Southern General Hospital, Dudley Road, Birmingham.

Liptrot, Alfred –

Son of the late Robert Liptrot, of 352, Bury Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Posted missing and subsequently presumed killed.
