Son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Beer, of 5a, Manchester Road, Walkden, Lancashire; brother of Alfred H. Beer, of 21, Manchester Road, Walkden, Lancashire. Enlisted December 1915. Died at 11th Casualty Clearing Station having been gassed.

Edwards, Thomas –

Son of Thomas and Susannah Edwards, of 184a, Bolton Road, Walkden, Lancashire. Enlisted April 1917. Died at the No.83 General Hospital, Boulogne, from gunshot wounds to the head and left foot.

Only son of Albert Edward and Alice Prescott, of Beech Mount, Boothstown, Lancashire. Enlisted 1914.

Ratcliffe, Arthur –

Son of Mary Elizabeth Ratcliffe, of 52, Vicars Hall Lane, Boothstown, Lancashire. Possible death in the April to June Quarter of 1918 in the Barton-on-Irwell registration district, aged 22.

Smith, Joseph –

Son of Mr. and Mrs. John Smith, of Providence Street, Little Hulton, Lancashire. Enlisted September 1914. Saw service in the Dardanelles, Salonika, and Egypt. Killed in France by a piece of shell which struck him on the head.
