Son of John Thomas and the late Hannah Jane Clemmet (nee Casstles), of Bolton, Lancashire; husband of Amy Clemmet, of 48, Shaftesbury Road, Gosport, Hampshire. Body not recovered for burial. Memorial on family grave on Astley Bridge (St. Paul) Churchyard.

Dixon, Robert Syddall –

Son of Thomas Alfred and Mary Ellen Dixon, of 1, Springside Cottages, Belmont, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted September 1914. Formerly Gunner 1395, 3rd East Lancashire Brigade, Royal Field Artillery. Served in Gallipoli and Egypt before going to France.

Holland, Ernest –

Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Holland, of 34, South View, Belmont, Lancashire; husband of Mary Hannah Holland, of 30, Maxwell Street, Astley Bridge, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted September 1914. Seriously wounded in the chest by a shell on 21/03/1918 at Doullens. One of six brothers serving.
