Son of Henry and Mary Jones, of 75, Randal Street, Daubhill, Bolton, Lancashire; husband of Minnie Jones, of 3, Buller Street, Great Lever, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted March 1916. Formerly 23905, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment.

Jones, Richard –

Son of Henry and Mary Edwards Jones (nee Boulton), of 75, Randal Street, Daubhill, Bolton, Lancashire; husband of Helen Aldred (formerly Jones nee Aldred), of 14, Coach Street, Atherton, Lancashire, formerly of 45, Dijon Street, Daubhill, Bolton, Lancashire.

Mann, John –

Eldest son of the late Robert and Margaret Mann, of 333, Derby Street, Bolton, Lancashire, and formerly of 24, Peabody Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted September 1914. Brother Harry Mann serving on a minesweeper in the Royal Navy, c/o 6 Mess, HMS Wishart.

McFarland, Albert –

Son of Andrew and Nancy Jane McFarland (nee Fogg); husband of Elizabeth Alice McFarland, of 3, Sunninghill Street, Daubhill, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly Private 3447, 1st/5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Wounded 22/09/1917 by gunshot to the shoulder. Often recorded as McFARLANE.

Parkinson, Norman –

Son of William and Elizabeth Parkinson, of Victoria Parade, Morecambe, Lancashire. Formerly of 387, Derby Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Killed by shrapnel.

Pilkington, John –

Son of Hugh and Sarah Pilkington, of 14, Ribblesdale Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted January 1915. Reported wounded and missing since 20/09/1917 and subsequently presumed to have been killed.

Priestley, Arthur –

Youngest son of the late Mr. William Priestley, of Deansgate, Bolton, Lancashire; husband of Sarah Ellen Priestley, of 12, Hillside Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly a tram driver for the Bolton Corporation Tramways Department. Enlisted September 1917.

Shanks, Harry –

Son of Mr. J. C. and Mrs. H. Whitehead, of 42, Croston Street, Daubhill, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly a member of the Borough Police Force in Nelson, Lancashire.

Williams, Thomas Frederick –

Son of the late Squire and Sarah Alice Williams, of 31, Auburn Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Presumed killed whilst repairing barbed wire entanglements.

Woodcock, Harry –
