Basson, George Roderick – Private

Of 7, Horrocks Street, Pendlebury, Lancashire, was a builder’s labourer who joined up aged 31. Discharged 28 May 1919, and awarded a small pension due to GSW (left arm). His brother John was Killed in Action in France. He was interred in Swinton Unitarian Chapelyard but recently reinterred in Swinton Cemetery.
