Daughter of Walter and Eliza Horrocks, of 166, Elgin Street, Halliwell, Bolton, Lancashire. Served with the Voluntary Aid Detachment / British Red Cross Society. Later trained as a nurse at Nottingham General Infirmary.

NOTE:- Wrongly recorded as died in Mesopotamia on SDGW, and commemorated on the Basra Memorial by CWGC. Died at Gallipoli.
