Banks, Harold –

Son of Elizabeth Davies (formerly Banks, nee Ashurst), of 13, Entwistle Buildings, Bolton Road, Kearsley, Lancashire, and the late Jonathan Banks. Enlisted September 1914. Dislocated his left ankle at Vimy Ridge, and was wounded in both thighs and the left arm at Messines. Reported missing 21/03/1918, and subsequently confirmed prisoner of war. Repatriated 11/12/1918.
