Son of Mr. R. and Mrs. E. Bullough, of 45, Albert Road, Farnworth, Lancashire. An old boy of Farnworth Grammar School. Enlisted March 1915 aged 17. Formerly Private 5647, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Had been made a sergeant, and reported to be one of the youngest sergeants in the Army. Reported missing and subsequently presumed killed.
