Husband of Mary Alice Clarkson (nee Cordin), of 102, Albert Road, Farnworth, Lancashire. A skilled marksman, he had a long association with the Farnworth company of the Volunteer Battalion of the Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Died 07/10/1917 aged 57, and interred 11/10/1917 in New Bury (St. James) Churchyard with military honours.
