Previously enlisted at Manchester 18/08/1914 as Private 3295, Hugh Dunion, born Renfrew, Renfrewshire into the 9th Bn., Lancashire Fusiliers. Discharged 22/10/1914 as not likely to become an efficient soldier. Subsequently re-enlisted under false name as recorded.
