Son of William and Annie Griffith, of Windmill Street, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia, and later of 16, Wood Row, Irlam, Lancashire. Died of broncho-pneumonia following influenza at 5th Casualty Clearing Station, and interred at Communal Cemetery, Sous-le-Bois, near Maubeuge, France.
