Son of James Edwin and the late Clara Kelsall; husband of Zillah Adeline Kelsall (nee Jones), of 53, Wright Street, Hull, Yorkshire, and formerly of Horwich, Lancashire. Previously employed at the Horwich Loco Works. Served in the South African Campaign as a Trooper in the Duke of Lancaster’s Own Yeomanry. Drowned when his vessel was torpedoed in the Mediterranean.
