Simpson, Hubert Speer –

Son of John James Speer and Helen Blanche Simpson, of 27, Bromwich Street, Haulgh, Bolton, Lancashire, and formerly of 95, Bradford Street, Bolton, Lancashire. An old boy of the Bolton Church Institute. Survived the sinking of the SS Statesman on 03/11/1916. Died from pneumonia in hospital in Calcutta. NOT CWGC commemmorated.
