Smith, Joseph –

Son of Annie Smith, of 46, Clarke Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Wounded seriously by gunshot to the head 22/01/1917 and removed to the County War Hospital, London, for treatment.

Son of James and Fanny Smith, of Reginald Street, Moorside Road, Swinton, Lancashire. Resided at Hutchinson Street, St Peters, New South Wales, Australia. Died from shot wounds.

Stewart, Thomas –

Son of Mr. W. Stewart, of Hometown, Port Pirie, South Australia, Australia; husband of Elizabeth Ann Stewart (nee Taylor), of 37, Blackbank Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Previously served 18 months in the Royal Field Artillery in England. Wounded at Gallipoli 25/04/1915 by shrapnel in the right thigh causing compound fracture of the femur.
