Fordham, Harry –

Husband of Amy Fordham. Previous service in the Australian Navy – time expired. Wounded 12/10/1917 by gunshot in left thigh and left hand resulting in amputation of both.

Son of Charles and Eliza Ellen Fowler, of 69, Moorfield Grove, Tonge Moor, Bolton, Lancashire; husband of Alice Fowler, of 8, Arkwright Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Suffered debility following pneumonia contracted at The Somme 30/11/1916.

Garrett, John –

Son of Elizabeth Garrett, of 212, Belgrave Road, Hathershaw, Oldham, Lancashire, and the late Mr. Garrett. Mistaken reported killed in action 07/06/1917 and subsequently confirmed wounded by gunshot in the abdomen.

Gerrard, Thomas –

Son of Thomas and Sarah Jane Gerrard, of Headless Cross Cottage, Anderton, Lancashire; brother of Fred Gerrard, of New South Wales, Australia. Died of enteric and heatstroke at No.2 Australian Field Hospital, Tel-el-Kabir, Egypt.

Gibbons, Albert –

Son of Hannah Fletcher (formerly Gibbons), of 49, Sloane Street, Daubhill, Bolton, Lancashire, and the late George Gibbons. Declared a deserter since 18/04/1917 aged 25 years by a court of inquiry at Military Rest Camp Macleod held on 14/05/1917.

Claimed previous service of 5 years with the Lancashire Fusiliers. Enlisted at Liverpool, New South Wales 26/04/1915, claiming birthplace as Bolton, Lancashire, and recorded as Deserted. Subsequently enlisted again 06/10/1915 as Gunner 17145, and declared a deserter 09/04/1916.
