Resided later at 7, Sunngy Drive, Radcliffe, Lancashire. Served in the Pay Corps based at the Constellation Mill in Radcliffe, Lancashire. Also acted as a fire-watcher in Manchester. Died of cancer at Heywood, Lancashire.
