Brother of Thomas Latham, of Chapel Street, Farnworth, Lancashire. Formerly 3rd Battalion, Border Regiment. Service number recorded as 22130 on SDGW.

Husband of Gertrude Booth (nee Lamb), of 44, Derby Street, Bolton, Lancashire, and formerly of 200, Deane Church Lane, Bolton, Lancashire.

Bostock, Samuel –

Son of Dunmore Elizabeth Ward (formerly Bostock), of 31, Cross Lane, Salford, Lancashire, and the late Samuel Bostock.

Bowe, Percy –

Son of Mrs. L. E. Holt, of 13, Springside View, Brandlesholme Road, Elton, Bury, Lancashire. Died of wounds in a general hospital in France. His brother Ted served in France.

Bowen, Walter –

Son of Mary Jane Bowen, of 12, Chapel Street, Pendleton, Lancashire. Formerly a clog maker. Wounded by gunshot in the right forearm resulting in amputation.

Son of Ellen Bowker, of 145, Glebe Street, Leigh, Lancashire. Enlisted January 1915.

Bradbury, Benjamin –

Son of the late John and Ann Bradbury; husband of Betsy Bradbury, of 82, Albert Road, Farnworth, Lancashire, and formerly of 11, King Street, Farnworth, Lancashire. Enlisted January 1915.

Bradshaw, James –

Son of Alfred and Elizabeth Bradshaw; husband of Elizabeth Bradshaw (nee Boulderstone), of 14, Rudman Street, Salford, Lancashire. Formerly employed as a moulder. Served in the Dardanelles and Egypt before landing in France 11/03/1916.

Bragg, Robert –

Husband of Mrs. Bragg, formerly of 9, Belle Vue Street, Halliwell, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly Private 2392, 1st Bn., Lancashire Fusiliers. Four times wounded. Two brothers, Joe and Ben, also served.

Brearley, James Shaw –

Son of James and Nellie Brearley, 41 Regent Square, Salford, Lancashire; husband of Emma Simpson (formerly Brearley) 4 Hollingwood Street, Salford, Lancashire. James died at sea, along with 59 other Border Regiment soldiers, when the Royal Edward was sunk after being hit by a torpedo.
