Brian, William –

Nephew of Mrs. Kelly, of 87, Clammerclough Road, Kearsley, Lancashire. Enlisted in the Lancashire Fusiliers aged 19 and discharged 18/09/1909 after 12 years service including 7 abroad. Served in the South African Campaign. Re-enlisted Border Regiment in 1914. Reported as killed during landing at Dardanelles in August 1915.

Bridge, Albert –

Husband of Ellen Bridge (nee Duxbury), of 131, St. James Street, Farnworth, Lancashire. Wounded by shrapnel in the neck in August 1917 and hospitalised at London.

Son of Samuel Edward and Elizabeth Alice Brown, of 336, Darwen Road, Bromley Cross, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly of 37 Ollerton Terrace, Eagley Bank, Bolton, Lancashire. An old boy of Bolton Grammar School (1910-1913). Reported missing and subsequently presumed killed.
