Claxton, Samuel Henry –

Son of Reverend William Henry and Rose Eliza Claxton, of 46, Hampton Road, Forest Gate, London. Father was former pastor of the New Jerusalem Church, Bolton Road, Kearsley, Lancashire. An old boy of the Bolton Municipal Secondary School. One of four out of five sons lost.

Son of William and Ellen Collier, of 139, Harrowby Street, Farnworth, Lancashire. Formerly Corporal 19546, 20th Bn., Lancashire Fusiliers. Died of pneumonia in hospital. Memorial in St. James’s Churchyard.
