Eldest son of William and Mary Ann Constantine, of 10, Southfield Street, Bolton, Lancashire, and formerly of South View, Croft Street, Bolton, Lancashire. An old boy of Bolton Municipal Secondary School. Formerly a Private in the Royal Army Medical Corps, and a Second Lieutenant in the 6th Bn., Lincolnshire Regiment. Also served as a cadet in the trenches with the Durham Light Infantry.

Conway, Simeon –

Of 21, Lark Street, Farnworth, Lancashire. Caught as an absentee from Shoeburyness since 25/11/1915 appearing before Bolton Magistrates 02/03/1916 to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/27).

Son of William and Louisa Wolsey Cook, of 513, Booths Hall, Boothstown, Lancashire. Formerly of 10, Bridgewater Road, Walkden, Lancashire.

Cooper, Alfred –

Of 64, Blackamoor Road, Blackmoor, Lancashire. Caught aged 40 as a deserter from Carlisle since 08/01/1918 appearing before Bolton Magistrates 05/04/1918 and 08/04/1918 to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/29).

Caught aged 23 as an absentee from Shoeburyness since 20/08/1915, and again as a deserter from Shoeburyness since later in 1915. Son of Mary Hannah Crook, of 47, Trafford Street, Farnworth, Lancashire. Formerly Driver, Royal Field Artillery. Served in India, where he suffered heat stroke and malaria.
